I`ve decided to move from pc to Mac.I`ve already used a G4 as my music computer for 3 years , mainly Pro Tools, so it is not totally foreign to me. Everything else is on PC . I`d like to know how big a task it is to move all the data to a Mac in a form the Mac understands . What about Firefox favorites and Thunderbird addres books etc.
Thanks
Moving from Pc to Mac..

The physical transfer should not be difficult if you have a network or some way to transfer the files already.
If you're using Firefox already, you should be able to export to a format that will be read by Firefox on the Macintosh.
Most common programs that are available on the Macintosh will read your PC files without problems. Microsoft Office, the Adobe and Macromedia products are all designed to be cross platform as much as possible.
Look for specific fonts that might not be available on the Mac.
There's a book called "Switching From a PC to a Mac - The Missing Manual" that's supposed to be good.
