Firefox question ie. mouse scrolling

Post by Pete Burak »

'Just downloaded Firefox.
That little wheel in the middle of my mouse doesn't work for scrolling up/down like it does with Explorer.

Anybody got the fix?
Thx,

Pete,
I never had that problem, you might go to control panel, and check the mouse settings.

Same problem here. But then when I downloaded the latest FF 1.0 (up from from .9) the scroll worked and I was real pleased. Then it stopped working again. I went to a mozilla forum and found some discussions of this but I don't have time to chase down a fix.

Thanks for the feedback, guys.
I'll try to download a later version.
'Had a total meltdown and had to zap this box with the recovery disks.
'Got all the Windows Updates, Norton Antivirus, Spybot, Ad-aware, figured I'd try Firefox, too.
What a pain. At least I didn't have anything too "un-lose-able" on this machine, cuz it was wiped clean!

I use Firefox too, and have no problems. It is very useful for secure sites the "require IE". But this is an easier solution to your problem, and you will in all likelyhood never have to dump your hard drive again.
