REAL PLAYER TOOK OVER MY COMPUTER.
When I go to Mick D's TAB website www.micksguits.btinternet.co.uk/tab/index.html
and click on one of the Windows Media Player
icons to download a sound clip,
my computer screen gets filled with machine
language instead of downloading the music.
I've gone into my control panel and checked that Windows Media player is my default software for internet music downloads.
Anybody know of another site I could try with windows media icon for downloading a clip? Maybe the problem is in Mick's site.

sorry to hear you're having trouble with the WMA clips. I use Windows Media Encoder vn 7.01 which is at least a year old (maybe more). Can you play other WMA files ok - is it just my clips that give this problem ?
I haven't heard of anyone else having any probs with the WMA clips..
Here's an idea : I'll make a small test WMA file and I'll email it to you. If you save it to your hard drive and double click on it that might shed some more light on the problem.
