You're willing to pay for a copy of the user's guides but not for the software? Image

Yes indeed - I got the version 11 (software) from a friend but it has changed so much from my earlier versions that a little help would very much be appreciated. Thanks.....Wes

I started with BIAB version # 7 in 1996 & have upgraded almost every year. Don has nailed it.......everything you always wanted to know is right there in the help screen! I love the program and have entered at least half of my 2,000 + tunes (with the melodies) with my mouse! A labor of love! a most enjoyable music capable program! Sounds as good as your sound card & system! Next step... working up to playing nursing homes with those guys (BIAB musicians) in my lap top backing me up! But does any senior citizen want to sit for a half hour or so and listen/watch me struggle with my pedal steel?? I doubt it!!

There's several free videos that explain some differences at http://www.pgmusic.com/bbdemovideos.htm
[This message was edited by Joey Ace on 15 July 2004 at 03:44 PM.]

You might be surprised, what else do they have to do. I've played a lot of concerts in nursing homes with the town band, and they always went over big.

Wes:
Glad you got the problem solved. in this part of Pa. Working with a band is few and far between. I've driven 1 1/2 hrs in each direction just for a "practice" session. but thats another chapter. I've been using BIAB for some time now, along with regular tracks, and a Boss DR-5. I as well do the Nursing homes, Rehab Centers, Senior Centers, and various events and festivals. then throw in a few steel shows throughout the year and it keeps my schedule at a happy balance. but I gotta tell ya, (my wife says I'm just getting my foot in the door a little early). but the Nursing homes, rehab and senior centers gives me the most enjoyment. to see the smiles on those faces makes every investment worth while. please stick with it, and I think you'll see what I'm talking about. IMHO, I think I put on a fairly nice show. Please dont forget about the elders. If I can be of any help, please feel free to E-Mail me or give me a call 717-352-2050. God Bless

BIAB is a great program and getting better use it and you will enjoy playing your steel and learn more then you can beleive.
The people in Nuring homes appreciate you coming to play for them and it will give you a good feeling but don't try to explain what you are doing because they think you are making all that music and they love it,just keep the volume down and the temo up.
