A friend of mine is giving me software so I'll soon be able to turn songs and song segments from CD into MP3 format. Not that I know what "host" means, but what host do most of the Forum users to post links to for others to be able to hear examples of their steel playing on MP3s? Please explain in plain English and not use computer terminology unless absolutely necessary.
Thanks,
Marc

Marc,
Check your AOL account. There may be a place for you to upload files from your PC into a publicly accessible folder (or folders) that have specific http addresses (URLs). If you have a customer service page or helpline at AOL, check with them. They should be able to help you. An alternative may be b0b's server...I think he offers some online disc space. Other options are places like Yahoo Briefcase and other storage sites.
