AOL is waiting for a virus scan of file??

So, every once in a while, I get a little yellow box from Norton pop up in the bottom right corner of my screen that says something to the effect that:

AOL is waiting for a virus scan of sap.dat

Now, there's no button for me to push to either make that scan happen or not happen, so I don't know why the heck it's still waiting for this file to be scanned. Scan it already! By the way, I did a search on my system and could not find that file myself, so I'm really perplexed.

There is a Norton help button, but the info there just says that some program can't work until the file is scanned, but my AOL is working fine, as far as I can tell...

Any ideas what the heck is going on here??
