MP3 help?????

Post by Dave Grothusen »

We cut a commercial at a radio station and they emailed me an MP3 of it. I want to burn a CD of it. However my burner program does not recognize the mp3 file. I don't understand why. How do you convert files from one format to another. What is a good program to deal with audio files?
Alos what is a good program to work with video files. I want to freeze a frame of a DVD and print a picture.
Thanks.

Dave............

Just save the mp3 as a "data" file.
any machine that can play a mp3 will work.

As for the frame-grab of a DVD, Whenever the shot comes up that you want, just press the "print screen" button once, That will capture the frame. Then open up whatever program you use to work with pictures and paste it in there. You can also paste into most word processors programs useing the same process. Generally, anything that appears on the computer monitor can be captured, saved, and imported into a graphics program.
