I don't know if it is a virus or not,I got 1 yesterday and 4 today, did not open.Does anyone know for sure?
Bit once shame on you, second time, shame on me....

DON'T OPEN ANYTHING YOU DON'T HAVE TO!!!
If there is any doubt whatsoever throw the thing away. The aggravation and inconvenience are just too much. Also beware of "social engineering" scams that claim to advise viruses that really aren't. You can end up deleting important files from your system.

I need some help and info.. I received a message that I had three viruses tonight.
I quarantined two of the three and then deleted them. Was that the right thing to do?
There was a third that was titled My Doom or something like that and the message was "unable to repair this virus".
I have NOT opened any attachments.
One of the virus message's I received was as
follows..
Norton Anti Virus deleted the following e mail because it was infected with a virus.
Norton describes the virus in this manner,
From "Mailer Dae-Daemon@server1.Windco2.com
What does this mean and why did I receive this?
So far as the one Norton was not able to repair the one virus. I run a complete virus
scan every day and keep my live updates and virus definitions up to date.
Where did the virus that was not able to be repaired go? am I still infected even though after a complete scan my Norton shows zero infections. Anyone??
Thank you guys. edited for spelling error sorry.
[This message was edited by Jody Carver on 15 February 2004 at 11:47 PM.]

You can delete anything that's been "quarantined".
The fact that a virus couldn't be "repaired" shouldn't concern you in the least. Norton just wants to inform you when it does its work, so that you'll know it's doing something and you'll buy the next upgrade.
