Just want to pass this on. Yesterday while recording with Sonar 2, I was getting some stuttering. Figuring I had some corrupt files I re-installed Sonar 2 (twice) to no avail. I then searched "help" to no avail. Frustrated, I went to printout something and noticed my printer was turned off.(I normaly leave it on) After turning my printer on...the problem went away. The Sonar program worked just fine after that.
Does anyone have a clue as to why this would happen when the printer is turned off?
Thanks!
Lloyd

It's only a guess because there is a lot I don't know about your system, but I would not think it was a problem with Sonar. Ive found it one of the most reliable in that respect.
One possibility would be that if your were using a paralell printer, it might have not quite finished a print job when it was turned off, so the computer kept spending time looking for the connection. A USB printer should not have done that- but who knows what goes on inside Mr Gates' finest anyway? (Not Microsoft for sure!)
Cheers
