Block sender

Post by Joe Delaronde »

I have been blocking the spam mail using Message/Block, but keep getting app. 150 per day.
Can I view the file that has the name of the blocked emails????? And if there are too in the file, will it slow the computer????

Win98
Thanks
Joe

If you can, switch to a yahoo account. I have had one for 5 years. There is almost no spam email that gets through, and if it does is directed to a bulk folder seperate from your normal mail. You can also tell yahoo which is spam and which is not, thus directing it to regular or bulk mail. It also has blocking and other options.

I Have 4 yahoo accounts, & the reason I have 4 is because I get so much spam, that it fills my mail box in 3 days, My first account I get about 100 in the bulk folder everyday I get around 20 in my inbox which I report as spam, & of course they thank me because it makes their spam blocker perform better..ha.. so I just create a new account, till the next one gets polluted........... Um, jolynyk. Do you have the spamguard option turned on in your yahoo account? Sounds a little like you may not.

Hi Ken, yes I do.. but I still get all these... I forgot to tell you I have the free version.. I wish they had the option of changing the screen mame, but I can't find it , nor a place where I can delete my account, I guess I should just leave it & not use it for awhile & they would cancel it themselves,(I mean Yahoo)..My last one that I opened gets very little spam as of yet, cross my fingers..
