I keep having a problem with Explorer. I get a message saying " Internet Explorer has caused a problem and will shut down, If you keep experiencing this problem, please restart your computer" Is there something I can do to stop this from happening? This is really annoying and happens quite frequently.

I've found that error messages always have a root. First I'd open up the computer tower and blow it out with compressed air. Then run ScanDisk, (with the little box checked to automatically make repairs.) Then run Disk Defragmenter. It seems to me that most blue screens are relieved by doing these things.
Good luck!

How about going to the Microsoft website and downloading ALL the patches for IE. I would also upgrade it to the latest version. Start from there.

I'm probably behind the times, as I still am running Win98SE. I don't know if the later versions have this, but under 'System Tools' there is a program called 'Microsoft System Information.' If you have this, open it, and under 'Tools' there is a 'Internet Explorer Repair Tool' which will scan and repair IE if necessary. It's worked for me several times.
