Post by Joe Delaronde »

After downloading some midi files I keep getting a popup warning that Virtual Bounce will protect me from prying eyes.

What is it?????
Thanks

Are you running Windows XP? It may be a messenger pop-up. Instructions for removing it were discussed here: http://steelguitarforum.com/Forum12/HTML/001601.html

It's called VirtualBouncer and it's spyware. You should remove it from your system. Try the free tool Spyware Blaster.

Jeff
Thank you. I see a lot of activity on my cable modem. Lights blinking, Send, Recieve, Message, even when I'm not on the net.

Also, programs been hanging up quite a bit in the past two days. Speially Baib.

I'll try the program. Thanks

I think you should access "Control Panel" and then "Internet Options". Then delete and clean out all your old files and the "cookies" that are lurking in there. After that run "DeFrag". That maybe would help.

I downloaded and installed the spyware detection software, and it detected 585 items and removed them.

A good program.
Thanks all
Joe
