Internet Express Has Developed a Problem
My XP problem that recently developed is a notice that "Internet Express has developed a problem and must end the program you are working on".
This is happening often....It's not fatal because I just re-enter the URL and everything is OK. It's mostly just annoying and an inconvenience.
Anyone encountered this problem?

Yes if you run too many applications along with Explorer; you will have this prob.
Alway Re-boot after this happens.
Also go to the tools at the top of the explorer and click "Windows Update" and get the lastest patches/features.
Delete your temperary files and history...and defrag....and re-boot and your good to go.
Just don't click on something until the page has finished loading also...

Might be the same problem, might be different but I got screwed up and started having the same interruptions. Some pages loaded ok, some were interrupted by that message. I believe, although I'm not certain, that I became infected/infested with something called Winshow which seems to be a parasitic spyware sort of thing. Or I could be wrong. But what I did is do a system restore back to a few days before the problem arose. I also finally downloaded Spybot Search & Destroy from here: http://www.safer-networking.org/
and also Spywareblaster from: http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html
and for the hell of it the toolbar from google that includes a popup blocker. I was just plain pissed so I went for broke.
The good news is the problem was cured. The bad news is that I don't know which one of these guns or what combination took care of business.
At the very least do a system restore. It's real simple and might do the trick.

Gene,
Do you mean "internet explorer" and not express?
If so, then it sounds like spyware. Try using Lavasoft's Adaware application to get rid of it. The application is free.

Gene,
Hey buddy! Did you try that LavaSoft software to see if you had some spyware on your machine?
Just curious...
