can't hear my recorded audio

using cakewalk 9 I can't hear my recorded audio during playback. I hear the midi files & it shows that the udio is recording. Soundblaster 5.0 platinum is being used & I can play a regular cd through the windows player.

Go to your soundblaster audio mixer and see if something is muted. It's just a guess.

Try going to options/audio and look at the drivers. you should have the SB LIve wave device selected for your input as well as your output.
