email spam jiberish

I get emails(spam) all the time that starts out with 2 or 3 lines of jiberish(sp?). Like
wkerkidowsorl43ldslsowjmssllwoowoksowpfmmvkkkdfkldfldsfllklfldmfmfmldmflk
What's that all about?
Another question. What would happen if you hit reply to sender on one of junk emails, and did that about 1000 times? Probably just get a 1000 more junk emails, huh? Needless to say, I'm a little frustrated with all the junk mail.

Most of the time the sender is a non-existant email address. If you replied a thousand times, you'd get a thousand "could not deliver" replies. Image

b0b is correct. I've replied a few times, and I ALWAYS get a "could not deliver" reply. So, replying just increases our aggravation.
