Getting rid of nuisance processes...

Post by Ray Minich »

If your PC seems to be slow, sluggish and tired, and when you hit the ctrl and the alt and the del keys to get to the task manager you see a list of names that don't make sense and you wonder just what in the hell they are, there's hope. I found this website in a Windows magazine and it's great. It takes some navigating but you can actually find what mdm.exe is and how to get rid of it (and all the rest of the unnecessary process that bog down a PC).

Look for the line that reads "A comprehensive LIST of programs that are loaded at start-up".

Happy hunting....

The web site is http://www.pacs-portal.co.uk/startup_index.htm
