Best midi to TAB program?
I have a demo of TabEdit, but I am not sure I want to buy it. The copedent always drops off (demo?), and it doesn't seem to edit well.
I find no way to add my copedant to it only the basic string notes.
I prefer a Mac version, but coould do a Win 2 K version.

The Tabedit demo I have is Mac. But I have too many issues with it. I am not sure if it's a PC guy doing a Mac Translation, or it's just an incomplete piece of software.
I just tried to get Clictab 6, and had a download problem. A forum search said V.5 or later wasn't bad, so I am waiting for a new address for the DL. that didn't.

I use TablEdit for ALL of my tabs. But for converting MIDI to pedal steel tab, you won't find anything that's very good. TablEdit will do this but the result will probably not be the same tab most humans would write. The program will try to get as many open notes as possible. Works great with instruments that don't tune though - like guitar or mandolin.

I Love clictab. Lots of great features, and the midi thing works pretty well, although I've only used it in limited capacities.
