So, my computer locked up on me yesterday for good. Had to use my hard disk software to diagnose and eventually format and reinstall everthing. Right now I have only been to a few pages and i've received massive bytes (currently 1624568 bytes vs 209640 sent) When my computer froze up yesterday it seemed to be doing the same thing. What would cause this?

Also, looking inside my case I found that my 128mb of ram are for 100mhz bus while my cpu is running on 66. (The motherboard is a socket 1 or 370 option) Would this cause any problem? Should I look for 66mhz ram?

My pc called for 66 but the 100 works ok in it. I don't think that is a problem. Did your pc freeze up again? Are you talking about your brouser cache filling up?
