AOL starting up when not enabled

I just upgraded to AOL 8 and this has been happening now for the past week.
I'll be playing with BIAB as backup and all of a sudden I hear the "WELCOME" and look at the computer screen and AOL has come on.
I've looked in the automatic startup that AOL has and it is not enabled. Any other places to look? This never happend with AOL 7. Thanks for the help.
