Help with ICQ problem Please ?

Since installing XP Home Edition I can no longer recieve files or chat requests from fellow ICQ users-- I have reloaded it twice to no avail. My window will say "failed to open send/start ICQ chat response dialog. Plugin may not be installed properly.
Then sometimes my window will say "plugin failed to handle request" any suggestions please ? Thank you, Bill Myrick

Have you tried un installing ICQ and re-installing? can you send IMs? If you want you can try sending me a message. ICQ # 128213486 - steelman.

Yes I have reinstalled two or three times. I'm wondering if I have a newer version than the others and need to down load a differant plugin as they call it and where could I find it ?

I use 2002a and it works pretty good....give it a try.
