need help re-installing Camera and scanner.

I had a crash of some sorts awhile back and have a problem getting my computers USB ports enabled. I load in the programs but afterwards it tells me no comunication with computer.

What OS are you using? If it's Win95, I'd suggest upgrading to Win98. It should handle the USB connectivity better. There's probabyl a patch file you have to run if you have Win95. It should've come with your computer.

You say it crashed. I assume that means you had to re-install the OS?

Does Device Manager show your USB ports as operational and having the correct drivers?

David thanks for the hints, I am running win 98 and I did have to re-install everything and that's when I have started with this problem. Everything was great until then.
