Session 400 Cap Job

Post by George King »

I have a 75 session 400 that I bought a complete cap ect. kit from Brad Sarno awhile back for.Trouble is he is so busy with the revelation pre amp that he didn't have time to install the parts and I just bought the parts from him and now I need a highly recommended amp tech to install them for me.Any recommendations??Thanks George King , southern Illinois

Mighty smart move, George. I did manage with a lot of help from Brad over the phone to put his kit in my '81 Session 400 and the big caps only in the '74 Session 400 because it already sounded so good I was afraid to mess with it much. I love the sound I get using both together.

I have done the Sarno cap upgrade on my Session 400. Sounds great. Also if you dont use the reverb in he amp, take it out completely. This makes a big difference. Definitely one of the best steel amps ever made.
