Matching extension cabinet for Hot Rod Deluxe

Post by Michael Holland »

Check out the Line 6 Flextone 1-12 cabinet. It fits perfectly under the Fender Hot Rod Deluxe. And the HRD will run a 4 ohm load, so after you've replaced the stock Fender speaker with a good 8 ohm speaker, put another one of your choice in the cabinet and you up the power output of your amp considerably. I'm running a Vintage 30 in the amp and a Mesa 50 watt Celestion in the cab. Nice combination! Only problem is that the grille is gold on the Line 6 and silver on the Fender. It's hardly noticeable under stage lights, but I'd like to match them.

Thanks, Rick. I like the Les Pauls pretty well. I'll send you an email about doing the grille. And your cabinets look great. You have a very nice website.

Davie, Hey cuz! (That's southern for cousin!)
