Steve. I use a number of different settings. I like the dynamic delay and the tape delay. For reverbs I like a bunch of them. I'll use the TC Classic Hall, the Concert Hall, the plates, the spring, the "live", and sometimes the Cathedral. I've made about 6 presets, some 'verb heavy, some delay heavy. Generally when I go to any preset, I'll also tap out the tempo of the song in either 1/4 notes or triplets depending on the delay feel I'm after. Delay timing is really cool. If you time them right for a song, you can get away with more delay, but the repeats will land on beats with the drums or hi-hats so they won't stick out like an obvious effect, but the depth and dimension is there for the steel. So far I've found it pretty hard to find a bad sound with the M300. I really like how everything is on a knob. The pre-delay on the reverb engine is very useful. Short pre-delay settings can make the steel sound kind of large and distant. Longer pre-delay settings make the reverb sound start later so you can actually bring the steel closer sounding while the reverb creates an ambience around it. Pre-delay is subtle, but important for tweaking the near-far aspect of reverb.

My main setting is the TC Classic hall and the dynamic delay. The super-wet setting is the Cathedral and the tape delay.
