Question for Brad Sarno

Post by Richard Tipple »

Brad
I usually just roll up the cord on my SGBB & store it in the back of my NV112. A couple of times it was stuck to the magnet when I got ready to set up,,,,will the magnet do any harm to the innards of the SGBB ?

Richard, there shouldn't be any harm in that other than scratching the finish. There's nothing inside that can't handle a magnetic field.

Yikes! Maybe the Black Box will be o.k. but aren't you worried about it jostling around and punching a hole through through your speaker? I never leave anything loose in the back of my amp.

I'm with Bill. I don't like leaving anything loose in the back of my amps. My Fender Steel King has a velcro strap for securing the power cord during transportation.
