Carvin V3

Post by Jerry Miller »

I just bought one of these amps the 212 combo and it is FANTASIC sounds GREAT on PSG as well as 6 string I play bothe and was looking for a amp that could handle both and this fits the bill from clean steel to heavy metal solos I would suggest looking into this amp especially if you play more than PSG in a night I use a tub fex as well with it mainly just for delay chorus and non transperent fx and verb and some eq Jerry
[This message was edited by Jerry Miller on 09 April 2006 at 07:19 PM.]

Jerry, I have a Carvin Nomad, tweed 50 watt 1-12 all tube amp that sounds great for guitar but I don't like it for steel. My Carvin TL-60 tele style with 3 single coil pickups sounds killer through it. I get a lot of compliments on the amp. I just bought a Carvin PS 100-15 bass amp to use at church. It is a great little amp for under $250. We will have to hookup and go riding. I have a Yamaha Roadstar Warrior and my wife has a Kaw 454-LTD. Email me or call me.

Jerry, do you still have the Peavey tube amp with the 15" speaker, and 4 EL84 tubes?
I thought that one sounded good for steel also. Image
