pickup noise
I just installed an accoustic transducer type pickup in my accoustic, and it has lots of static and feedback. What do I do to quiet it down?

Delvin,
Have you tried an acoustic pre-amp? They almost always cure this type of problem
as long as the instlation was done properly.
I use the LRBaggs "Gigpro" check em out

Delvin - What kind of pickup are you using and, also, are you using a pre-amp? Most transducers need some sort of pre-amp to boost the signal before it gets to the amplifier. I also use the Baggs Gigpro and am quite happy with it. I run my old Martin into the Gigpro, out to a Zoom 504II f/x unit and into a Crate acoustic guitar amp. Great sound.
