Another Peavey find!

Post by Jason Schofield »

I was over at my mother's house last week and she wanted me to take this cabnit that was sitting around. My step-father had it built by his woodworking buddy. It had two speakers but no chassis. I found out the chassis was in a cupboard in the garage. I guess the old amp fell out the back of his truck and the original cabinit was destroyed. He never got around to finishing this project. I dug through the garage and found this Peavey Transfex Pro 212s. Drilled a couple of holes, mounted it and it looks great. Only problem is the battery had serious corrosion so I'll have to get it replaced. Right now the preamp doesn't work so I'm running the Pro Fex II into the power amp in stereo until my Session 2000 gets back from Peavey. Here's a pic Image

I also have some cds and cd box sets for sale. Check it out. http://steelguitarforum.com/Forum18/HTML/000720.html <font size="1" color="#8e236b"><p align="center">[This message was edited by Jason Schofield on 23 February 2006 at 04:54 PM.]</p></FONT>

Nice-looking cabinet, the Peavey gear fits great in it.

Replace the memory battery with a battery-less mod! You will bever need a battery again.
