My new REVELATION TUBE PREAMP
Wow, I'v tried about everything. I always kinda thought bottom end meant nice bass, But now i know what bottom end is.This unit by Brad Sarno is unbelievable. I'v never dreamed of playing thru a unit like this. I dont get anything for saying this, I havent even met Brad yet.I heard R. Beavers and J.Hughey is using this Preamp so wait till you hear it. Anyone else using one what do you think? Gary

Well mine just arrived Monday, and I got a Thai AC plug on it.
Plugged it into my Crate Bassbus portable upright bass amp,
which is the practice amp of the moment.
Right in the external effect patch bypassing all but amp to speaker.
Shobud at the ready ;
with all tone and input settings at 1 O'clock....
I hit a nice C6 strum and raised the master volume..
Oooohh sweet!
It really sounded fine with just a generic setting.
Tried it full tone 5 am
and most tone removed 9 pm etc.
And tweaked the input tone balance switch,
and of course the variable impedance control.
Wow, and greater range of variation than I had expected ;
which was a lot.
After a while I worked to dial in a C6 tone and then an E9 tone,
and then a cross-neck tone.
Well I found two or 3 cross tones I liked with just a bit of touching the Color knob,
or the tone switch.
Even through this contrebasse helper amp it sounded clean and full.
Everything I expected, and more.
Good on you, Brad!
