Settings on Vegas 400

Post by Ted Nesbitt »

Today I bought a Peavey Vegas 400 in brand new condition (bedroom amp) I have been playing thru a NV 1000 and NV 112 for the past few years (not at the same time)so the EQ setting would be quite different on the Vegas? Can anyone recommend settings for this amp? Thanks in advance

Hi Ted, first it's nice dealing with you. I too have the same amps as you. With regards to the Nashville 400. I use the controls with band work as follows. From left to right.pre gain (pushed in)set on number 5 post, set on number10,low set on plus 6 (2 o'clock),mid, -9, shift 800, high +6,presence +6 Sounds good with the Carter Universal with TT pickup.

Sorry Ted, got confused with the Vegas and put in my ore for a Nashville 400.It's the same amp anyway but as you know the Vegas is the twin channel version. My (Vegas) burned in the house fire you know about, but I use the same settings on my Nashville now.
