Tubeworks ampworks question

Post by Len Amaral »

Tubeworks has the "ampworks" processor with 11 amp and cab models. The street price was $149.00 and they are being closed out for $49.00. I know this is not in the same catagory as the POD. However, for rehearsal or a small gig it may be OK.

Question:
Is this unit a preamp that could be used with a power amp? It looks interesting. Any comments are appreciated.

Is that a "Korg" Ampworks? I can't find anything for a "Tubeworks" unit. There's nothing on the Genz-Benz web site or nothing in a google search using "Tubeworks".

I need my glasses changed....

The advertisement reads:"Toneworks ampworks"

Combine 11 amp sounds with 11 cab sounds, additional effects, knob based interfaced.

$179.99 list was sold for $149.99 and being closed out for $49.99

Any thoughts on this unit and is it a preamp that can be used with just a power amp?
