1203-4 in a nsh112
I'm sending the speaker out of one of my nash 112s to mike to have it checked out, and i was thinking about using a 1203-4 until i get it back.I didn"t know if that would work ok or not. any comments?

I tried a 1203-4 in my 112 and could tell very little difference in the sound. Not nearly enough to offset the extra weight, so I put the Blue Marvel back in.

I agree mostly agree with Darvin. It adds unwanted weight, but I also hear sweeter highs and smooth mids that the stock speaker does not have. Every time I A/B the two, I choose the amp with the BW over the stock amp. Both are good, but I alway's seem to be looking for good plus differn't for a signature sound.

If by swaping out the speakers (whitch i had to any way to send it in to mike)and just has sweeter hi's, i may have to swap out the other one too. I don't mind carrying around another few pounds of sweetner to a gig if it makes me smile at the end of the night, besides, we have a trailor full of heavy eqip we have unload and load any way ,whats another few pounds groina hurt.
