evans power transistors

Post by jerry harkins »

Need to know the proper power transistors for an 83 Evans fet 500. there are four.
My 94 has MJ802's and all four are the same. The 83 has three different ones.
all though the values may be the same.
I want to replace all four on the 83.
Anyone know the answer?
Thanks for the help,
Jerry.

Thanks Lee, but that post is for a 1990-91 custom LV. the 83 evans may be different values, I just don't know.
anyone else know if MJ802's will work?
Thanks, Jerry.

Jerry,
Call up the folks at Evans. They've changed
the output transistors that they use or would
have used in that amp. They'll tell you what you need.

You might want to contact Derrell. He is a member of the Forum. He could tell you if the schematic is appropriate or not. He might even be able to answer your questions.
