Twin Reissue

Post by Larry Robbins »

Ijust bought a 65 Twin Reissue to use for SIX string Tele and Strat.NOT steel.Got my Fender Steelking for that.Got a good deal as it was a scratch and dent deal, although I cant find any scratches or dents Image How do the rest of you that use one for six string like them. I tried to find an orig. but everybody thinks that they have THE TWIN and wanted more than I could buy this for.So far....Love the tone! Thanks for any and ALL comments.

I've got two and they both sound great with my PRS, Strat and Tele. Robben Ford says if you can't afford a Dumble the Twin comes closest to the same tone.<font size="1" color="#8e236b"><p align="center">[This message was edited by Steve Hitsman on 31 August 2005 at 04:55 PM.]</p></FONT>

I like mine, been playing it for 6+ years. Tele mostly, steel every once in a while for funzies. Actually, it was a suitable replacement for PSG when my NV400 was in the shop.

I've got one myself, and I sometimes use it for Steel. I especially like it with my Lashley LeGrande III.

I played my steel through it the other night
and I must say ,I liked it.But I think I like my Fender Steelking better at higher volumes.Haven't tried going through the PA with the twin yet though. I really like it so far for Strat and Tele.Kinda heavy but I'm hauling a Steelking anyway and whats another herneia.
