Tubefex-settings

Post by Geir Arne Boska »

Hi. New member and a newbie steeler from Norway here. Just bought a Tubefex.. and I'm a little curious about what global settings you guys are using. Thankful if you would share your experiences with me.

I keep the tones at 12 o;clock (straight up). Input is set for no clipping by watching the input LED while playing some chords. Remember the bass strings will put out the most volume. The output depends on whether you are feeding a guitar amp (set at about 30-40, or a power amp (80-90, way to noisey at 100). It is a preamp and can easily overdrive the input of a guitar combo amp! I prefer to run the left and right outputs into both jacks of the same channel as well.

Geir, go up to the top of the page and clik on "search", enter Tubefex and you'll find about 30 threads relative to Tubefex including settings. Hope this helps.
