1" studiotape?
Hi !
My band are having a studiosession in two weeks in an analog studio (tape) and I recently found out that studiotape (1" reel to reel) is hard to find here in Europe nowadays.. And if we find some it's very expensive.. Do any of Usa guys know of a good suppliers i Usa that could ship here.. Or if any of you guys have some tapes in good shape laying around the house i could buy?

We bought some for our Analogue room a few months ago- I'll ask the techies where we got it from, but it was definitely a UK supplier- possibly Studiospares- http://www.studiospares.com/viewproducts.asp?cid=2830&ctitle=MAGN ETIC%20TAPE>itle=MEDIA%20&%20BOOKS&p=1&gid=1
Do you know if you need 456 or 499? It always was expensive, and it's got worse, but I would not trust an old tape of unknown age and provenance. You could end up by sweeping your session off the floor with a distpan and brush!
Cheers
