Nashville 400 reverb buzzzzz
Hey Guys,
My Nashville 400 has been a great amp for me and I really enjoy playing through it. All of a sudden my reverb has a AWFUL buzz to it. At times, it will totally distort my signal.
Anyone have any experience with this problem? I have checked the cables going from the spring to the amp and they are OK....anything else I should be checking?
Cheers!
Mark

If you can turn the reverb control down and buzz ceases, it could be that the ground wire on the RCA plugs at the pan, or the molex pins are loose at the chassis. You can check for this yourself if you are mechanically inclined. But, be extra careful when unplugging and replugging the white molex connector on the bottom of the chassis.
If you need further assistance, feel free to contact me here at the factory and I will be glad to assist. I can be reached toll free at 1-877-732-8391, ext. 1180.

Why should I be careful with these? Are they fragile? But, be extra careful when unplugging and replugging the white molex connector on the bottom of the chassis.

The "Molex" connector plugs into pins that are soldered to the main circuit board in the amp. There is potential for problems with one of the circuit board pins if you get too "heavy handed", especially since the Molex connector tends to be tight.
The best way to get at the connector is to remove the upper back panel. That will give you better access to the Molex connector. If you have some contact cleaner, hit the male pins and the female pins in the connector while you have it apart.
