Lexicon MX 200

Post by Del Ray Grace »

I have been contemplating purchasing a Lexicon 100 or 110 every since Gary Preston's Gospel Steel Guitar Jubilee early this year. Most of the guys that performed had one and they sounded great.I see that an even later model is on the market called the Lexicon 200.Does anyone out there own one and how does it compare to the others? Thanks in advance for the help. www.sacredstrings.com

I have a Lexicon MPX 200. It is the best sounding reverb I have every used.
Yes I love mine.

Not that I am in the same league as Mr. Bethel, but I am also using an MPX200 and think it is a great sounding processor. The MX200 is a replacement for the now discontinued MPX200. I picked it over a similarly priced TC Electronics unit because it has better sound and better features. The 200 is a step up from the 110 and allows more presets and controls over program parameters. It doesn't have near the capabilites of the 550, but then the 550 has way more than I need. I think all the lexicon units sound great.

I also use an MPX 200. I believe it is very similiar to the 100/110, with just a few more bells and windows and a little more user friendly.

The new 200 will also let you access it from a computer via USB and use it as a plugin in recording programs...

Thanks to everyone that wrote in on this post.I am having a ball as I experiment with the many different features that my Lexicon MX 200 has to offer. The only limitation is your imagination with this unit. Thanks for sharing guys.

Are there delay & chorus features available with this unit? If so, how do they stack up?

Thanks,
