One thing I find interesting (and typical of the "boutique" cables). There are NO technical specs. For $2970 per foot you are to take their word.

Obviously it's not even within the realm of ridiculous.

These cables appear to be 279.00$ for the 30 footer
standard model and go up from there to the top model at around 1000.00. pricey to be sure but no specs as of yet to tell the responce. Thanks for the link its allways great to know new ways to spend your money.

Here ya go, all the BS you ever wanted to justify paying $297 per foot for audio cable. I especially liked this:

(Low profile indeed. Didn't the Wizard of Oz actually turn out to be a con man?)

Those would go good with the $750,000 Jimi Hendrix Strat on ebay.

Hey Jim Phelps...i thought about cashing in my 401k..buying a few..and putting them away as investments...if they are worth a couple of grand now..the value can only go up with time right? so i ran the idea by sweetie this afternoon...she slapped me off my computer chair...women just don't understand high finance i guess.....

Uh, George Carlin once quipped: "Nail any two things together, that have never been been nailed together before, and some schmuck
will buy it."

I got cables I still use from years ago, and to my ear, things sound just fine. What's the big deal here?

Around here, BIG DADDY'S music chain is pushing "MONSTER" cables at some ridiculous price $30 - $40 for a 20 footer.

Anytime something is advertised or for sale with the word 'monster' in it, I just keep movin' on. Thanks, but no thanks.
[This message was edited by CHIP FOSSA on 29 June 2005 at 03:02 PM.]

At that price they must be for steel guitar cause anything steel related is almost always five times more than regular. Hope Buddy or Hughey don't start using them. They will really be our of range then. Image
