Music Man reverb replacement & impedance match

Post by John Poston »

So I finally got around to checking accutronics website for reverb information.
I was thinking of getting a 6 spring tank to replace the 4 spring tank, but the impedances are slightly different.

Does anyone here know whether or not the following differences would cause any issues?

<font face="monospace" size="3"><pre>
4 spring 6 spring
input 1475 ohm 1925 Ohm
output 2250 ohm 2575 Ohm
</pre></font>

As you can see, the 6 spring model has slightly higher impedances. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure that in the scheme of things the differences between 1.4K & 1.9K, and 2.2K & 2.5K will not matter. I think that is pretty close to a match.
