Boss GT Pro

Post by Jerry Overstreet »

Anyone had occasion to check out this new rack mount pre/processor?
Lots of features for guit-pickers, and like the past models probably can be configured for steel easy enough. A bit pricey though.

Might be a solution for guys that gig on both steel and 6 string. http://www.bosscorp.co.jp/products/en/GT-Pro/

wow! that looks awesome! It doesn't mention anywhere that it works as a pre-amp, although from the description it's sort of assumed isn't it?

I really like the idea of having the unit react to dinamics. This could make for some pretty zaney effects with the volume pedal, or some really subtle and elegant ones with pick dynamics...

The price seems comparable to the POD XT Pro, which i'm sure it's trying to compete with. I'd love to hear Steel player reviews about this unit also!

Kiyoshi, definite preamp features. [click the Details bar]. Yeah, it does look good on paper...be interesting to hear some reports from steelers who have had hands-on experience with it if anyone has. Maybe too soon. It's only been available for a short time.
[This message was edited by Jerry Overstreet on 15 June 2005 at 09:42 PM.]

Just forget it!

You did'nt embrace the GS-10 wich is the same thing inside with a few additions.

I thought it would take off considering all the BOSS pedals everybody uses.

Mine is great but I'm a nobody that is barely learning Mary had a little lamb.

J.J., I guess I missed the boat on the GS-10 Image. I'm not familiar with that unit. Sounds like it's working pretty good for you though. Is it a preamp also?
