What model of Goodrich pedal was the "Curly Chalker" pedal? Did it actually have his name somewhere in the model designation or is it referred to as the Chalker pedal because he used it?
George, you might be thinking of the
Goodrich pedals that use the 10K pots. They have a built in buffer circuit. I have the low profile model L10K. they are very good pedals, and it is true, you only have to change the battery, once a year or so.
I have the 10K lowboy model John mentioned, and I use it for small venues, with many acts on and off, works fine, but the one Ann announced is the LDR7, comes in 2 units... one clamps on the leg, the other is the pedal. Both use 9 volt batteries only, no AC plug in at all.... batteries are rated for 1 year, playing 5 nights a week....however... I still be a Hilton man.
