Boss TU15 Tuner feedback needed

Post by Marty Broussard »

Just in case I can't repair my old WT12...I'm soliciting some feedback on the Boss TU15 chromatic tuner. It appears to be the closest thing around to my old tuner and it's affordable enough to chance having it getting banged around on the road. Any feedback is appreciated. Best regards, Marty B.

It has a light in it for low lighting situations. I had one and sold it. But the TU12H has a better meter scale.

I bought a Peterson VS-II but I still have the TU-12H.

I didn't like the TU15 because it doesn't come with (or fit in) a case like the TU12 does.
Beyond the lighted display, it had nothing over the TU12 as far as I could tell.
I brought it back and got a TU12 (I also have a TU12H).
Since I keep the tuner in my steel seat, the case is important to me.

Martin, I was in the same situation as you except that my WT12 just died. I copped a TU15 cause they didn't have a TU12 and have been quite happy with it. It's got a few features that are unusable for me, but the needle functions well and the light is a bonus.
