Question....?

Post by J Hill »

Some of us at the Dallas show in early March ordered the Peavy Nashville 112 Amp, knowing it would be on back-order. I got a notice last Friday (29 Apr) from UPS in my email with "Ship Notification" and the tracking number in the subject line.

Now, 3 days later, the UPS tracking info still says "UPS has received shipper's billing information electronically. Billing information received does not indicate shipment pickup or drop-off. Please contact the shipper for more details."

I've never had this happen before. Usually, the tracking info just tells me where the package is from day to day. Can somebody explain why I would be getting no information but the message above from day to day? Thank you for any insight you can provide me.

Leila, if the shipper generates their own shipping label before taking the item to UPS to be shipped, that is the response you recieve.

Thanks fellas, I was wondering what the delay was all about. This morning it tells me that it is "In Transit - Rescheduled" but due to be here tomorrow. So that's good to know. Thanks again.

Worth the wait! I think you'll really like your new amp, Leila.

Thanks for the encouraging enthusiasm, Mark. Image As a newbie I don't know much about equipment, but I'd read the threads here that speak well of this Amp so I didn't hesitate to order one. Soooo...its sure nice to have expert opinions to rely on!

Hi Leila,

We process shipping documents and labels the business day before shipping. In this case processing occurred on Friday, 4/29 and shipping on Monday, 5/2.

Hope you enjoy your new Nashville 112.

After about 12-15 hours of speaker "break in" time it'll sound really fine. Enjoy
