Importing Session settings for Nashville 1000

Post by Nicholas Dedring »

Just as a general ballpark, how would your settings differ between an older Session 400 LTD (unmodded) and a new Nashville 1000?

A kindhearted fellow steeler is bringing his amp to a gig we are both playing (thanks Lawrence!) and I was curious how the eq sections differ in general terms?

Any input much appreciated!

Hey Nicholas,

You will have to cut the midrange bigtime! (and that probably still won't be enough)
I wonder when the Mod to fix that mid peak will be developed.

The two amps have different EQ. The Nashville 1000 has the Paramid EQ, way different from the Session 400.

My NV 1000 settings are: Low +9, Mid -3 and Frequency 800 Hz, both High and Presence slightly on the plus side. Start with that and you can adjust for what you want, but that will get you in the ballpark. But the big thing is the Paramid control, you have to cut the approx 800 Hz frequency, if you go on the plus side it will get bassy.
