Hey Mike Brown!!
HI Mike,
I'm repairing Peavey Acoustic guitar amp for a buddy, and it has a blown tweeter diaphragm. The diaphragm is part of a 12 inch, Blue Marvel, CoAxial speaker.
Can you direct me to a place that I might buy one?
Thanks very much!

Now that's service! Give Fender a call sometime and see how well you get treated. I just had the joy of fixing a Hot Rod Deluxe for a guy here in Nashville, Ga. The Fender Rep was down at Rutland's Music at the time I called. He was no help at all! Treated me like a second class citizen! I finally found parts online at Antique Electronics!
Peavey service is unmatched in the industry! If you repaired amps for a while like I have, you would discover that very fast.
Ok, off my soapbox now!!!
[This message was edited by Ken Fox on 28 March 2005 at 10:36 AM.]

HI Mike,
Thanks very much for the reply, I'll give them a call tomorrow.
That tweeter diaphragm is a simple replacement. It seems kind of silly to replace the entire speaker when a drop-in diaphragm will do the job, no?
I sent an Email the the Peavey Parts dept.
Hopefully they'll sell the diaphragm.
Thanks again,

HI Mike,
I dont mean to be contrary, but the tweeter diaphragm is held in place by a retaining bezel, that's in turn held in place by 3 screws.
Remove the screws, pop off the bezel, unsolder the 2 color coded wires, and the diaphragm (with alignment holes in each end, so you can't install it improperly) pops right out.
Less than a minute.
Looks like a plain and simple 1 inch dome tweeter. Suspended in cooling grease, but the grease stays put in the gap.
Very similar to the old, larger, 22a.
