Replacement Pickups for Sho-Bud

Post by Justin Douglas »

hi everyone,

i've got an old sho-bud professional d-10, mid 70s i think, that's just aching for some new pickups (the stock pickups are so microphonic i can talk into them and hear it loud and clear through my amp). i can't seem to find any info on replacement pickups that will fit right into a sho-bud without any adapters or mess.
ideally i'd love some used george l's - i'd like to get a little closer to that fuller emmons p/p sound than my “tinny” sho-bud sound.

any suggestions?

thanks!

Add me to the list of satisfied Sho~Bud rewind customers. Mine sounds fat and his turnaround time can't be beat! Definitely go for it. You won't be sorry.
