Black Box vs. Hilton powered volume pedal
If you have a black box, do you need a Hilton Pedal, or If you have a Hilton Pedal do you need a black box. They both claim impedance matching for pickups, tone improvement and lack of tone suck. Little confusing since I have'n had a chance to try both. Could someone help with some feedback concerning these two units. Thanks

Hi Donald, I use both. The Hilton pedal is great as you will not have any noisey volume pots, very smooth and a comfortable height.
The Black Box is great for using with a solid state amp and also for recording direct, makes it sound more like the old Fender valve amps.
I find they are a great combination and would not want to be without either.
