Furman Power Factor Pro...fyi

Post by Ron Randall »

Furman is making a unit that will stop all the ground loop problems. Period. IT will also adjust for changes in the power factor coming to the outlet you are using. Voltage protection, etc.
I have been trying one for 3 weeks now on Guitar Center's 30 day policy. I play 2 tube amps in stereo with a Lexicon. I like it.
It is not a rack mount unit (on purpose I think).
It is about 11 pounds and built like a tank.
Around $250.
Check it out.

Last night we(my Hawaiian band)played a little gig outside and we all plugged into one extention cord via a power strip. The PA, bass and my amp sounded like crap. I think were going to get one of these. Thanks for the tip.
