Stereo Steel
I'm looking for feedback on the Walker Stereo Steel.
Thinking of useing one but not sure.
How many guys use them.
How do they perform.
Thanks Jerry.

I think their as good as it gets!! I've tried a lot of different amps and the Walker Stereo Steel is by far my favorite. I hardly ever touch a knob, only to adjust for room acoustics.
Everybody has the sound in their head they want to hear and I think few ever find it, but I can say I have. Most everyone I know that has these amps, love them.
If it matters, (it really don't to me) there's a lot of top pro players using Gerry's amp. I won't name names because some of them are endorsing other brands but still using the Stereo Steel. I'm not at all implying the other amps aren't good but I guess sometimes the situation determines which amp they use.
As far as customer service, Gerry Walker just can't be beat!! He's as good as they come!! I can't say enough good about him or his amps so I'll stop right here.
Go for it...you'll love it!!

Hey Jerry,
I proudly use and endorse the Walker Stereo Steel!!!
I have a couple of other amps I use for alternates (2nd gigs)...but my first choice in town and on the road is my Stereo Steel.
Great sound, plenty of headroom and the tonal abilities are GREAT! I can't tweak my other amps for each room like I can on my Stereo Steel.
They are NOT CHEAP....but they are worth EVERY PENNY!!!

Quality gear from a great guy. I'm running mine through 15" Black Widows and the sound is huge. Separate volume controls for Master, EFex (controls the level of effect you want to add to your sound), Aux (great for connecting a CD Player or cassette deck for practice tracks) and Phones ("family friendly" feature that allows you to turn off the external speakers and get the same Stereo Steel sound through headphones -allows you to beat your favorite tune to death without annoying the rest of the family). "GD" is great to deal with and only an e-mail or phone call away if you ever have any questions. Highly recommended.

I've had one for a little over a year now and I'm totally satisfied. It solves every little wish-list type item (2 switched accessory outlets, effects loop with loop level control, headphone amp, 2 independent chanels), has tons of headroom, is endlessly eq-able, is lightweight (13 lbs I think), and is NOT expensive! It's totally great, and the fact that Jernigan and Franklin were each playing through one at the NTSGA jam a couple of weeks ago should satisfactorily vouch for it.
Can't lose!
